Privacy Policy
Applies to the game SLAB · Last updated July 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Quietspire LLC ("Quietspire", "we", "us") handles information in connection with our mobile game SLAB (the "Game"). By playing the Game, you agree to the practices described here.
The short version
SLAB has no login and does not ask you for your name, email, or other personal details. We don't run our own servers that store your data. The Game does use a small number of trusted third-party tools — for showing ads and for basic, anonymous gameplay analytics — and those tools automatically collect limited device and usage information as described below.
Information collected automatically
Through the third-party services listed below, the following may be collected:
- Device & technical data — device model, operating system version, language, and general app performance/crash data.
- Identifiers — advertising identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA/IDFV) and similar device identifiers used to deliver and measure ads.
- Approximate location — a coarse, country/region-level location derived from your IP address (we do not collect GPS/precise location).
- Gameplay analytics — anonymous, aggregated events such as game starts, scores, and store interactions, used to understand and improve the Game.
Your high score, crystals, and settings are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.
Third-party services
SLAB uses services provided by Unity Technologies:
- Unity Ads — to show optional rewarded advertisements. Ad partners may use identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted.
- Unity Gaming Services (Analytics & Remote Config) — for anonymous gameplay analytics and game configuration.
These providers process data under their own privacy policies. See Unity's privacy policy at unity.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Advertising & tracking choices
On iOS, if the Game or its ad partners wish to use your advertising identifier for tracking, you'll be asked for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt — and you can decline. You can also limit ad tracking at any time in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising). Declining does not stop ads; it makes them less personalized.
How the information is used
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Game.
- To show and measure advertisements.
- To understand gameplay trends through aggregate analytics.
- To diagnose crashes and technical issues.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Children's privacy
SLAB is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will address it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing. Because we don't maintain accounts, the most effective control is your device's ad-tracking settings; you may also contact us to make a request.
Data retention
We do not store your personal information on our own systems. Data handled by our third-party providers is retained according to their policies. Locally stored game data remains on your device until you delete the app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
